Billy Gibbons began my history of him when he had a band called the Moving Sidewalk, and they used to come over to Beaumont, Texas from Houston, Texas and play in the Rose Room of the Hotel Beaumont for our Friday night Sock Hop Dances.
1967, 68 and 69 - Incredible. Strawberry Fields Forever was done a la ZZ TOP before there ever was a ZZ TOP.
Billy's style hasn't changed, it is his trademark, but it has gotten better!!
